Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, in which case “you” refers to that entity.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Streamline Reports is a software-as-a-service platform designed for bookkeeping and accounting professionals. The Service enables you to:

• Connect accounting software platforms via OAuth (including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft)
• Generate formatted financial reports (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and others)
• Customize report templates for your clients
• Deliver reports to clients via email or other configured channels

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes.

To access the Service, you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You agree to:

• Maintain the accuracy of your account information and update it as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately at miles@streamlinereports.com if you suspect unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You may not create more than one account per individual or share your account credentials with others. Each seat in your subscription is intended for one individual user.

Access to certain features of the Service requires a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize Streamline Reports to charge your payment method on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout
• Fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period
• All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in a promotion
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Failed payments may result in suspension of your account after a reasonable grace period

If you believe a billing error has occurred, contact us within 60 days at miles@streamlinereports.com.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or another user's account
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or other harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without our written consent
• Use the Service to process data in violation of Stripe's or Intuit's acceptable use policies

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without prior notice.

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Streamline Reports or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, service marks, logos, or other brand elements.

You retain full ownership of your data and your clients' financial data. By using the Service, you grant Streamline Reports a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your data solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including QuickBooks Online, Microsoft, Xero, and others. These integrations are subject to the terms, conditions, and continued availability of those platforms.

Streamline Reports is not responsible for disruptions, data errors, or feature changes caused by third-party platform updates, outages, or policy changes. Your use of third-party integrations is also governed by those platforms' terms of service and privacy policies.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Streamline Reports disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Streamline Reports and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the total fees you paid to Streamline Reports in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Streamline Reports, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) your clients' data that you upload or process through the Service.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate by canceling your subscription and deleting your account through your account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk to the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your account data within 30 days of termination, subject to any legal retention obligations. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 of these Terms survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and by posting a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
